This is the only bow I've built successfully that is not of Osage. I harvested the Ash stave from a downed tree on my dad's farm.
This bow was built after reading "The Bent Stick" by Paul Comstock. The design is wider and longer than the selfbows made from osage in order to handle lesser quality woods.
Its about 2.5" wide near mid-limb and about 68" long. Weighs in at about 40# @27".
